Taking First Steps in Giving
Often we want to give but getting started with giving can be tough. Here are a few ways to get started with giving.
1.) Start giving regularly: Establish the habit of giving consistently. Create an account and start online giving.
2.) Be a ‘percentage’ giver: The Bible challenges us to give proportionally to our income (1 Cor. 16:2). Giving a tithe (10% of your income) is a good target for giving. If you’re not in the habit of giving, begin giving something regularly as an act of faith; experience the joy of giving and follow His leading in future giving.
3.) Consider contributing to Faith’s “Making Room” campaign.
